Projects in Hospitals and Schools
Workshops
Charlotte runs regular workshops at Great Ormond Street Hospital, Bristol Children’s Hospital, The Royal United Hospital Bath and Southampton General Hospital.
There is strong evidence to show that taking part in a creative process can be positive and beneficial for patients in hospital. Being occupied with something imaginative or artistic improves wellbeing and promotes a sense of enjoyment and achievement.

Hospital Artwork
Charlotte was selected to create new artwork for the waiting and reception area at Children's Unit at Frimley Park Hospital, Surrey.
The work was installed in Autumn 2014. Brightly coloured 3D models of underwater creatures and fish were photographed to produce large- scale wall panels for a reception desk and walls.

Schools
Charlotte has worked in schools using a wide variety of creative techniques giving children the opportunity to improve and develop skills working towards specific project goals, such as animation or displays
"Charlotte presented the session in a very informal, relaxed and friendly way. Charlotte's softly spoken manner with the relaxed atmosphere provided an almost therapeutic element to the workshop" "My children listened intently and followed Charlotte's advice and were so happy to achieve exactly what they had set out to do!"
(Feedback from hospital work for North Bristol NHS Trust )
"We have held many artist led workshops as part of our programme Art at the heart, but I have rarely seen such a busy ward fall so silent in their concentration!"
(Arts Co-ordinator at the Royal United Hospital, Bath)
"Charlotte’s imagination and expertise truly captivated the children at Horningsham Primary School. She inspired and supported them to create wonderful characters for an animation film and opened their minds to new ways of working and thinking. The work she produced with the children will take pride of place in our school for many years to come!"
